Here is a new, relatively simple mod for GTA V: a Catamaran. This mod doesn't have any real features, but it looks nice. The sails move in the wind, propellers and rudders are turning and it has a custom vehicle layout. Also included of course is a full custom collision model, so you can properly walk on the boat. Main hull uses color slot 1 and lower hull uses color slot 2. It comes with a few color presets, but can be colored however you like by using a trainer of your choice.
Installation
1. Place the "catamaran" folder into [Gamefolder]\update\X64\dlcpacks\
2. With OpenIV, extract [Game folder]\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml and edit this with Notepad++. Add the following entry:
dlcpacks:\catamaran\
3. Now you are done, you will need a trainer with "spawn by name" function (Enhanced Native Trainer for example) to spawn the vehicle type in:
"catamaran"

You should make a Hydrofoil boat, maybe one from 2010-2013 and making it lore friendly, GTA V was supposed to have a Hydrofoil in the beta.

would giving it a steering wheel similar to the one on the Marquis solve the issue of the animation?
could look rather nice if you gave it a spot between the passenger cabin and those little stairs, or moved the little stairs to the inside and the wheel to the edge of the hull
