Description
- Makes switching between characters significantly faster.
- No issues through story or in free roam.
- Works on both Legacy & Enhanced.

(!) Note for GTA V Enhanced users: OpenIV needs external tools in order to work with GTA V Enhanced. There are tutorials for this online. Look at ZEnhanced, and it's tutorials.
Installation (.OIV)
- Extract the ZIP file anywhere.
- In OpenIV, go to the toolbar, press Tools, then Package Installer.
- Navigate to your extracted folder -> open Seamless Character Switching.oiv.
- Press Install, select your location, press "Install" again.
Uninstallation (.OIV)
- Same procedure as installation, but you open Seamless Character Switching - Uninstaller.oiv.
- Select the same location where you installed the mod.

- v1.1 - gta v legacy now uses .oiv packages for installation and uninstallation. minor adjustments.

Came to give an update since I am pretty much done the campaign now. I still have seen no issues and now must say that this is a must have mod.
@backforce I am so glad this mod exists. Hopefully it won't cause crashes. Going to have to take some time to prune my mod folder since the games updated since August and a lot of my mods haven't been updated yet, but this looks like an essential mod for all players.
Great mod. Been using this since I started the single player campaign. Right now I am at the The Bureau Raid, and I have not seen a single issue when playing.
@backforce So basically the only change you made to this new 1.2 version was editing the readme text file? You didn't make any changes to the actual mod, right?

Can you make it so it doesn't skip those 3 stages of going into the sky? but just have it load faster i guess..Also if u have both characters on mount chiliad and switch between them it takes very long to switch, can u fix this? its prob game relate issue

@MadHunter Yes, the delay when switching between characters located on top of Mount Chiliad is a game related issue and not a problem caused by the mod. (This occurs on both the Steam version and the PS5 version afaik.)
@backforce Well since you're still kinda active could u make a mod that is compatible with "Watch your death" mod? The problem of that mod is that when you toggle to activate the wasted screen ( acts as a delayer of death screen like in xbox360/ps3 versions ) it triggers the "FADING Away" sequence and not the actual Wasted screen, well it does but it does trigger the fading away sequence too early resulting in a too quick wasted screen. Could u make a mod that is either compatible with it ( im guessing its more easy ) for manipulating timer values?
@OneTrueFalafel my game just crashes when i switch charector with or wsithout this mod why?
I get "Err_fil_pack_3" when attempting to run any version of this mod. Any advice?
@TheDylanJG likely other mods interfering or an expired mods folder. never encountered this myself. try verifying game and reinstalling asi manager in openiv
no matter what mod i install if i mod the game even a bit everytime my game always crashes when i switch charectors anyone know a fix?
