Some tweaks to the AI handling to give the traffic a more realistic feel. The vanilla traffic is too safe and boring, other traffic tweaks cause too much chaos. So I decided to make mine.
Traffic in the city is mostly similar to vanilla, but occasionally, small accidents will happen if the vehicle in the front do an emergency brake.
Vehicles will generally go faster than before on highway:
+ Sport car will go faster
+ Old, heavy cars can cause some minor jam due to lower speed compared to normal vehicles
+ If there's an obstacle on the road: normal cars with good brake will be able to stop in time, sport cars have better brake, but are more likely to hit other cars because of the higher speed, heavy and old vehicles are more likely to cause an accident due to weight and bad brakes.
+ Jump in front of a car on highway and you'll get hit much more often, just like in real life
Overall, this tweak makes the traffic in game a little bit more similar to GTA San Andreas.

Nice! @duchuy613 can you add some sliding reactions for the AI that trying to prevent a crash just like when you driving into oncoming traffic?
The reaction time looks very accurate compared to RL. Great job done. :)

@Phorics In the gamefiles you'll see common.rpf. Then click your way trough to data and ai. You need to do this with openIV tho. http://imgur.com/a/MPIn7

Is there a way I can edit speeds of some vehicles for the highway?
Does this mod affects "Redux" graphic settings by any chance? Because I have Redux installed in my game and when I installed this mod all of the sudden the graphics look more like PS4 game console settings plus also I noticed a bit more stuttering while driving
Shaping up to be a brilliant mod! I hope you keep working on it. Is there a way to increase the follow distance between cars? Especially on the highway. They drive faster which is great but they also tailgate each other constantly which looks strange and is the greatest cause of "fender benders" in this mod.
I like the longer braking distance, but I think the cars need to generally drive further apart if possible.

How big is the difference between the safe version and the other version? Are the two versions similar in the cities?

@Hyfrith that's pretty realistic for highways in the US. lots of idiots ride eachother's bumper for no reason.
