Blood of the Fallen is a mod that replaces, adds and edits various files related to blood and more, such as textures, parameters and the like.
The earlier mod was called Realistic Blood And Wound Improvements. (RBAWI)
Features of the mod:
-Various blood effects look more wet compared to the original.
-The evects for bullets hitting the body have been replaced.
-The texture of the wound depends on the type of weapon.
-Textures are in good quality.
-Replaced many other textures not necessarily related to blood for additional immersion.
The mod was not an attempt to copy blood from any game but was inspired by games such as Last of Us, Zero Hour, Ready or Not, Blood Trail, Hatred, Bodycam.
Problems and bugs:
-There are no bullet holes from the shotgun on the car windows.
Installation on Legacy Edition.
To install you will need OpenV and Script Hook V.
To install the mod itself you need to unzip the archive and run the oiv file and install it preferably in the mods folder.
The file for removing the mod works just like the installer.
Installation on Enhanced Edition.
You will need:
OpenRPF, CodeWalker (with GTA 5 Enhanced Edition support), and
Script Hook V. And of course my mod.
You need to place the file from OpenRPF and Script Hook V in the root folder of the game.
Then go to CodeWalker and enable editing mode create a mods folder.
Then copy 3 files from the game's root folder (common.rpf, update, x64a.rpf) to the mods folder.
Unzip the folder with the mod and replace the original files with the files from the mod.
I specifically placed the mod files in the folders where they should be in those three files that you moved to the mods folder from the root folder of the game and do not forget to do all this through CodeWalker.

can you make version where that blood effect when you shot is removed? or can you change so it can be more realistic
or doesn enyone know how to remove that blood splash?
Can anyone help me? I want to install this mod on Legacy, and the description says it's possible, but I can't find any OIV in the files.

Great update! I'm glad the author listened and changed the texture of the blood drops that appear from the More Gore mod, but they look too dark; the color in the light version is almost black. I'd like these drops and your decals to be similar to vynttrix's paid mod (watch it on YouTube). The decals in his mod look very realistic and resemble those in the game Blood Trail VR. Also, the texture of the large blood splatter (like in your first screenshot) looks too large and unrealistic, not matching the other splatters. The bullet wounds are simply beautiful, very well done. This mod is my favorite; the author did a great job. I see some comments here about the mod breaking the game, like decals disappearing from hands and heads, or something like that. I hope the author fixes this as soon as possible.
how to download on nve? Just put the files in the onigiri folder?
