I'd like to add this mod but it adds 1.21 gigawatts to my computer. You really need a high end rig to use this.
I kid. This looks F'n amazing.
@Jomtek Sure! Just a thought, not a direct request (it's your mod and you have every right to make it how you want) but I personally think it would be really cool if, once a terrorist group has been killed, they can then respawn anywhere else on the map, in random places. They'd still get their glowing zones so you could see where they are, so you could go hunt them and fight them just like the first time. Basically your same idea, just never ending. It would almost be like you'd be fighting many cells of the terrorist's organization. "The Paleto Bay cell has been wiped out, let's regroup near the hospital in San Andreas", that kind of thing.
@zafrinsky It doesn't look like it but that would be awesome. You turn on the mod and then boom, randomly throughout the map, groups of terrorists appear and then show up elsewhere after the first group has been wiped out. I'd like that.
Well thanks, I appreciate the comment. All I know is that I used to frequent the Skyrim Nexus daily, and have seen SO many straight up demands like "do this plz" with no hint of appreciation or constructive criticism. It always bothered me, because as a minor, minor, MINOR semi-programmer myself, I don't like seeing people act so entitled when it comes to getting cool game mods for free. If examining someone's work can cause them to make changes that they themselves are happy with too, then that makes me feel less bad. :)
@InfiniteQuestion Don't bother yourself too hard on it. It's nothing more than personal preference. But thank you, I will try the mod tonight and let you know how it goes.
This is kind of similar to what I meant when I was describing misty rain. You still get the thin line "droplets", but the mist makes it feel much more immersive to me.
@InfiniteQuestion Well if it's something you'd actually be interested in I could try to find some footage of another game or something that has the kind of rain I like. I found a mod here called "insane rain" and I do love it, simply because it makes storms a damn downpour (which I'm very fond of) but I'd be happy to switch to yours if it has a similar effect but with more realistic rain "drops" because, again, his mod used the GTA "line" drops. Why do so many games do this, lol? Maybe the rain is rounder in Wisconsin. XD
This works fine for me in that the park and its trees appear, but the shadows (and sometimes the trees themselves) flicker as I run past them a lot of the time.
I've actually purchased crickets just to listen to them at night. :)
I'm using the heap adjuster and the other mod that allows for more items (can't recall its name at the moment) but I too am using Forests of San Andreas as well as the forested Sandy Shores mod. Knowing that they might work together I'm very curious to try this, though I too am using 2.1 so fingers crossed.
