PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLING IT!
INFORMATION
This mod makes it easy to replace cars, weapons & peds. You don't need to search for the patchdayX or x64X-folders anymore. Just put all your mod-cars into vehicles.rpf, weapons into weapons.rpf etc. Pls don't put META or other files into a rpf! Put only ytd, ydr & yft into the rpfs's!

Install handling, carvariations etc. like you normally do.
PATH
RPF-files can be found here:
\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\EMF\dlc.rpf\x64
TUNINGPARTS
Tuningparts are supported! You need to put them into "vehicle_mods.rpf". DONT PUT THE RPF INSIDE THE "vehicle_mods.rpf". You need the ytd, ydr or yft files.
PLACEHOLDER
DON'T REMOVE THE PLACEHOLDER IN VEHSHARE.RPF!
There is a vehshare.ytd inside the vehshare.rpf Don't remove the vehshare.ytd or your game will crash. You can overwrite it with mod-files. But don't delete it!
ADDONS?
My EMF isn't made for addons. It's made for replacing things. If you want to use addons, you can install:

Replace Cars Fix Install this to prevent flickering and gamecrashes when replacing cars.
This meta file removes tuningparts from the AI traffic. Most of replacer cars don't have proper tuning parts (so they will use the original tuningparts from GTA 5). This will cause flickering and random crashing when a replaced car spawns with the wrong tuningparts. I highly recommend to install this mod when you want to replace cars.
GAME CRASH?
Check if you installed everything correctly.
If it still crashes, use a custom gameconfig with packfile limit adjuster and heap limit adjuster:

Can't thank you enough for this, I never used anything like this (and don't remember any being available) in GTAIV and it was a real pain in the ass to replace, keep track of what was replaced and you had to keep copies of backups which grew to a sizeable amount if you replaced a lot of peds.
This method is much easier, faster, more foolproof too, thanks man!
@zinonetic Hi i want to ask. Whether we need input manifest.ymf in vehicle.rpf , pedprops.rpf
Doesn't seem like this works anymore, unfortunately. Causes crashes on loading, and I was able to narrow it down specifically to the EMF folder. Game crashed even with an empty EMF folder, but loads without the EMF folder. Will update rating if updated.
Still pretty much the best idea anyone's had on this site. Modding for GTA games is a nightmare and I still have panic attacks from just looking at GTA V's default mod folder, making you copy and paste everything into it again every time something goes wrong. You can just keep doing it all over again.
it worked before update but now Game keeps crashing at loading... Any fix?
It work's great but crashes when you load into LSPDFR.

@CitiZeN030 Bro I dont know about that cuz I needed it for my skins replace And as soon as I install this mod folder in my GTA V directory and start the game, it crashed... Anyways I needed for skins so I installed (https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/emfsp-easy-mod-folder-for-sp-player-mods) this mod and it also crashed but fortunately i found the fix
@Flo_Infantry yeah by me also same problem, i drag and drop in the vehicles.rpf reallife textures commercials on vehicles like the mule or big trucks with the commercials livery (sory for my english, i am german) and real lapd logos for the police cars, my game crash, i delete the emf folder and then its works again
@cyson help. After so many replacements, it seems i have limit. The game does not spawn my last two replacements and I have added another EMF file name "EMF2" and also added a second dlc.rpf and the replacements do not spawn. Every other replacement still work but not my latest 2.
@CSYON Can you tell me if my logic is right here: if a car add-on comes WITH a META file, there's no point putting the car ytd files (etc) in EMF, is there? To get the META file to work, I still have to add the car folder to dlcpacks and edit the dlclist (making use of EMF redundant)... am I understanding this right?
@grimjimslim hey EMF isn't made for any kind of addons. So if you want to use a addon vehicle as replace vehicle you can do that if you rename the vehicle with an existing model. Thats right you still have to edit the meta like you do with replaced cars.
@MusseVwayy Hey there is a RPF-Filesize-Limit. there is no other way around to make a EMF 2 folder (but you have to change meta files for that).
can i use patchday28ng and the emf at the same time to replace cars bc of rpf size limit ?

@MusseVwayy @Stearz Rename the stock EMF folder to EMF2, extract the content.xml and setup2.xml , change EMF with EMF2, put them back in.
Just don't forget what you have in the first EMF (ie; don't accidentally replace the same car/ped/weapon twice).
