PoliceRide Cinematic Arrest & Police Transport
PoliceRide replaces GTA Vs instant, simplified arrest system with a fully played-out police encounter designed to feel grounded, cinematic, and consistent.
When officers catch up to you, the scene doesnt immediately fade to black. Police move in, restrain you, and secure the situation. If you resist, officers will subdue you and hold you under control while backup arrives. Once things are contained, youre frisked, handcuffed, and physically escorted to a patrol vehicle.
Doors open, you're placed inside, and the transport begins - no teleporting, no abrupt transitions. If you attempt to escape, the situation escalates naturally and resolves cleanly without soft-locks, invincibility bugs, or broken wanted states.
PoliceRide is built to make arrests feel like an event, not a shortcut, while remaining stable during long play sessions and chaotic gameplay.

really appreciate this - and contrary to previous comments its working great with legacy and the scripthookv.net you put in the description
@DonDonny Oh ok great thank you sir.
I like all the mods you have released. There are a few improvements that could be made to this mod: 1. There is no option to surrender voluntarily; 2. After falling to the ground, players will still be continuously attacked by the police, and there is no support for skipping with a controller.
@DonDonny Thanks! Also, ive noticed on the way to the police station while riding in the squad car people in front of us tend to stay stopped at green lights etc. as they are programmed to pull over when a cop car has its lights on preventing movement in traffic as they keep starting moving and then stopping making the ride painful. Anyway to turn off the lights or reprogram cars ahead?
Would like to see some gameplay video before download, great idea, btw.
@dexterMQX i have not implemented surrender but for your #2 if you go to your ini, you can change the skip button to be: PhoneDown wich is d pad down.---- right now its set to L3 wich is Duck , PhoneLeft = d pad left ect.. ill update the ini file with keybind names for controlls next release
@jeffcarrington82 damn, yeah its been a problem i had thought i made a toggle for lights to be turned off at certain parts in the sequnce, ill have to do a bit more work, but should be out in an update shortly with other fixes im seeing ppl want
its not working for legacy for me and i have everything installed
mod literally doesn't work at all for legacy
could you make one for legacy
@kocabac @kocabac thank you broski i appriciate this feedback! update will come shortly with a few fixes i.e able to toggle sirens and lights during transport to the station to hopefully help with the cruiser getting caught up in traffic, and giving the cruiser a better opportunity to actually spawn. very glad to hear its working on legacy!
it is literally NOT working on legacy
@DEMON_PLAYZZZZ okay send me your scripthookvdotnet log , and tell me what legacy version your using and what version of scripthookv your using. we will narrow it down. because im sure you have already downloaded the scripthookvdotnet i put in the description and installation file of the script , backed up your old scripthookvdotnet files and replaced them with the ones i suggested. because thats the only reason youd be here again . thanks in advance
Mod Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKuB34Cu8-8
Yeah, just tried this on Legacy. Not working at all. Arrests just go from the regular Busted to walking out of the police station in the next scene. For myself, currently running the latest Script Hook V - v3751.0 / 1013.29 and latest ScriptHookV.Net - v3.7.0 - nightly.94 .
Here the test video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IW38Wnutv8, thanks for your great mod
Why the police punching me, not arrested me.
@Cahcahyacah the flow of the script at its basics - your wanted- police come and instead of just shooting you down, theyll just try to beat your ass , unless you start shooting than theyll light you up, i dont have a surrender system set up yet, so the police are basicly just going to knock you out and beat you until the pickup cruiser comes and releaves the officers from ass kicking and transport you to police station. there will be an update with the ability to surrender holding a button coming soon.
@Wolverine75 hey brother , so the issue is the scripthookvdotnet , my honest suggestion. move your nightly version of scripthook v dot net out of your gta 5 folder (make a back up on your desktop or something) download the scripthookvdotnet enhanced i linked in the description (dont let the enhanced worry you it works for both , ready the discription on github site) than copy the new scripthookdotnet files into your gta 5 folder (your other scripts should work fine and so should mine) if you have any issues just revert back to your nightly build. im pretty confident you wont have issues tho, best of luck.
@DonDonny i see, hope u add surrender system :D
