Description:
Have you missed the GTA IV cops since GTA V came out in 2013? I know I did, the variety in cop sizes such as with fat cops being present and the skinny/in shape cops running after you, was so much fun to experience in Liberty City! GTA V was lacking in this variety and only had male cop models that were present for all stars with not even using the female officers that they had nor having different special cop models like in GTA IV for each star. Well now the GTA IV cops are back in GTA V and even include the notorious FBI agents who show up in 4 or 5 stars chasing after you! These cops have options for both being original or having a completely new look to fit the new location of Los Santos!
I have been developing this mod over a few months now adding in all the models I could from GTA IV, and this was after finishing my Italian Mafia mod back in 2023! I made sure to bring all the peds with their props (glasses/hats) in an effort to bring back that original feel of the GTA IV law enforcement system!
I want to take a moment and thank a few people who made this mod possible as their contributions really helped in bringing it all together!
I first want to thank A.J.W.H for their help in creating the art you see for these peds via the screenshots above! He also helped me in making a compatible dispatch file for the very popular LCPD vehicle and ped pack mod made by another talented creator named Monkeypolice188 on this 5mods website! This optional file brings a whole other level to the wanted system as it focuses on only using the LCPD police peds from my mod and vehicles from his pack in an effort to bring the original system back and with a few custom changes that are totally epic! Definitely recommend trying it out and seeing it for yourself! You can also view this optional file in a gameplay showcase attached above next to the screenshots made by A.J.W.H!
Another person who contributed their wanted tuning file was a person named Click7414 from this 5mods website! This file helps in bringing the original system back, as now at 4 or 5 stars the cops will shoot at you from their vehicles in a last ditch effort to put and end to your chaos much like how they did in GTA IV!!
And lastly, I wanted to thank someone who may have not contributed file wise for this mod, but they helped me in making my video showcase attached above! They allowed me to use their dread packs for my work in progress Jamaican gang ped model that is showcased rapping and will be used for a future mod upload for the original Jamaican Gang Pack! ChunkyYaBoi was the man behind these amazing dread packs and I want to thank him for being a genuinely awesome dude to chat with in both the discord dms and 5mods comments! Be sure to show him and everyone else mentioned above some support and love as they greatly deserve it for what they do for this modding community!

OIV packages available for both install and uninstall as well! You MUST manually install the dlc pack and dlc list line regardless of using the OIV. Same goes for removing the mod as you must manually delete these files as well. The OIV packages couldn't contain these additions/changes.

Known Issues:
Currently not all cop models have blood effects and some may have very limited as I wasn't able to work with some of the models from IV as they kept glitching with reflections/shadows in GTA V and would appear dark in tint.
I have now learned a bit on how to fix this issue, but I did not have the knowledge when putting these models together originally.
Wanted level stars around 4 or 5 can sometimes spawn cop cars that have no one driving them. I have no idea why this happens as it is quite rare to occur anyways, but is still noticeable at times. I will look into a fix for future updates.

Future Ideas:
- Replace the rest of the LSPD voice lines with the GTA IV ones I haven't used yet. (9 total for both white and black officers)
- Replace other voice line files in V with the GTA IV dlc FBI and cop voice lines!
- Add scenario capabilities for spawning ambiently in GTA V and using the police vehicle idle animations for both night and day. They currently do not do this.
- Fix Invisible driver issue at 4 and 5 star wanted levels.
- Make it to where swat spawn in swat vans like in GTA IV. The game wouldn't allow me to do this currently with the base vanilla wanted system.

OIV packages available for both install and uninstall as well! You MUST manually install the dlc pack and dlc list line regardless of using the OIV. Same goes for removing the mod as you must manually delete these files as well. The OIV packages couldn't contain these additions/changes.

Known Issues:
Currently not all cop models have blood effects and some may have very limited as I wasn't able to work with some of the models from IV as they kept glitching with reflections/shadows in GTA V and would appear dark in tint.
I have now learned a bit on how to fix this issue, but I did not have the knowledge when putting these models together originally.
Wanted level stars around 4 or 5 can sometimes spawn cop cars that have no one driving them. I have no idea why this happens as it is quite rare to occur anyways, but is still noticeable at times. I will look into a fix for future updates.

Future Ideas:
- Replace the rest of the LSPD voice lines with the GTA IV ones I haven't used yet. (9 total for both white and black officers)
- Replace other voice line files in V with the GTA IV dlc FBI and cop voice lines!
- Add scenario capabilities for spawning ambiently in GTA V and using the police vehicle idle animations for both night and day. They currently do not do this.
- Fix Invisible driver issue at 4 and 5 star wanted levels.
- Make it to where swat spawn in swat vans like in GTA IV. The game wouldn't allow me to do this currently with the base vanilla wanted system.

Great Mod, I've always wanted more GTA IV things incorporated into V. However, could you create a seperate OIV or manual installation guide which only replaces the police & noose peds and maintains the regular dispatch within the base game?
@Finch1990 Yeah so my mod actually would need everything else that is currently in the download archive installed except the dispatch file that comes with it. If you want, you can dm me on my discord and I'll send you a dispatch file with only the GTA IV LSPD police and noose ped models. That would be the only thing that needs to be changed to vanilla but with minor edits, and would simply be the peds listed for the cop spawns.

@Dr_Optic_Fox Nah that is fine man, that's what these comment sections are for as well, as its not just for rating mods. I've done it before many times in the past when I wanted a character model in GTA V and didn't know how to rig stuff lol. So I got a poll going on my discord which lists all the last gangs, civilian peds, service males/females, and even the online characters of GTA IV that I plan to bring to GTA V. I just recently finished this police ped project I've been working on for a couple of months, and thus I plan to close the poll later this week as a result. If you still wanna vote on the bikers I will leave it open on my discord till Friday 6 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). I meant to close it this past Sunday but got too occupied with work and forgot to lol.
Right now it seems the Angels of Death are beating the Lost MC, but that's not counting the other gangs and peds that are sort of highly rated at the moment and one may win, which include the GTA IV DLC fight club peds, strippers/hookers, hustler gang, and the Russian gang.

Hey man, following you for quite a while now and I gotta say, you're doing an amazing job with your mods! However, just wanted to clarify if there is any way the original UEFA mod ( https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/enhanced-fighting-animations-beta ) will make a comeback? I was disappointed to find out that the file was taken off the site or something.
@Default_Username Hey there and thank you so much! My brother and I have been hard at work lately trying to get more cool mods out to you all for enhancing the GTA V experience as we all know the game can get a bit dull at times without mods! So it was pretty sad to remove UEFA as we've been working on it since 2017, with my brother actually being the one to start it, but he eventually moved onto making the ped mods you see on this page now and other small animation mods like the phone animation mod and the cover mod. The reason behind the removal of UEFA was mainly due to the fact that the game finally hit its limit on how much we could add to it via the meta files from the action folder. The game would crash almost everywhere and mostly in the city without explanation and the country was also falling victim to this at certain areas of the map which sucked. I was devastated as well since I never really noticed it till it was too late. Cause to remove certain parts of the mod at that point was extremely difficult due to the fact that I had added so much over the years to it and had started to forget what I even cold remove to lower the size of the files. Which is why I am making the stand alone packs like the Sifu mod you see on the page now and the current pack I'm working on focused towards the game Sleeping Dogs as I work to bring the amazing fighting styles from that game to GTA V! I figured it would work better this way anyways since it lowers the files sizes and I have even now learned the limit for the files so I don't get the stupid random crashing issues anymore thankfully! I don't see UEFA making a comeback unless someone is able to make a file size limit adjuster specifically towards the melee combat action files. Only problem with that currently is that no one I've talked to has been able to get the source code for melee combat related settings. Without it, it is almost impossible to make something like an adjuster script/asi file to change the limitations. I hope this all makes sense as it was definitely a disappointment to me as well. I'm not gonna lie, I may have actually cried a little when I realized the mod was not gonna work anymore lol.
@WolfFire23309 Sorry to hear that. It was a great mod, however I forgot to explain what exactly I wanted if it were to ever come back. Now might be the perfect time, so I'll start by saying that I've been following your YT for a while too and this particular video from 4 years ago (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y1yE1uVj9p8 ) demonstrates exactly what I want from the mod. As you can see, no new animations, but rearrangements of the vanilla melee combos and counters and a few improvements in them, plus the ability of the player character to trigger the failed takedown animation when you sometimes try to one-hit KO npcs with your fists or melee weapons (here's a beautiful showcase of them https://youtu.be/BNtmCvPkE8c?si=7ravfDC9dvlZO1xm ). Now from my suggestions and requests, I recommend making a standalone mod for this if you ever plan on reviving the mod, which I want you to take your time and patience on, although I'm hope that it would be ready within a year. Thank you for taking your time to read this, your hard work really means a lot to making my experience with the game more fun and to the modding community in general too!
@Default_Username I am glad you love this mod! I think I understand what you are looking for, my latest version in development consists of 13 assignable styles utilizing animations from various unreal engine packs and other converted animations from games such as Absolver and Sifu designed to recreate some of the various styles first mentioned in the original UEFA, including various forms of martial arts from muay thai, boxing, karate, judo etc. I am not really planning to make another version using mainly vanilla animations, at least not soon, but I am thinking of opening commissions sometime for custom brawling style pack mods, so maybe I can work something out with you in the future. The failed takedown feature is still available, but uses other animations depending on what style is assigned. I can't wait to share my next combat mod with everyone!! Its already completely overhauled the melee combat of GTA V in my opinion from improved controls, dynamic hit reactions, more AI abilities etc! :D

@Default_Username Hey I get that; I am usually busy with college course work/studies myself as well and work on mods in my spare time haha, luckily this is my last semester before I graduate! I don't have any experience in scripting unfortunately, however, I do got a buddy that I go to when I have script ideas as he is pretty good with that type of stuff and is patient with me when working to make a script I'd like to see made. He's ZefGTAV from on this 5mods website, but on discord his username is ZefGtav. If you want a script made with good quality, then I would recommend you dm him from discord.
