Even though this game is greatly optimized but despite having a 3090, my fps would still drop into the 40s when I would shoot with a minigun on a dusty surface. So this mod is supposed to fix that by minimizing the effect of dust flying around when shooting or hovering a helicopter on a sandy surface.
Installation:
1) You'll need Openiv with asi loader and "mods" folder enabled with openiv.
2) After that you need to open the OIV package in the zip folder with openiv and hit the install button and make sure to install it in the "mods" folder and NOT the game folder.

Nice work
How can I convert this to .asi?
I thought my AMD driver was buggin' before because of some of the game's particle effects and it turns out this fixes it. I never once felt the 6600XT struggle with a decade-old game but here we are. Amazing mod brother, I wish I had this earlier.
