when weapons are not in use they will be visibly seen hanging at the parts of ped's body closely similar with battle royal games like PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds, Fortnite, Rules of Survival, Ghost Recon Wild lands.
-Tip-
If you are new to Pickups then use a trainer to manually equip weapons individually , do not attempt to choose "equip all weapons" in the menu or the weapons will be scattered close to each other in the ground and you'll get confused
PICKUPS by infamousabre is an outdated script mod , I don't know why it has to be not updated for a long time but judgingly it is still beautiful for it has the ability to create a fantastic mod like this.
take note that installing pickups will make your numbering for weapons not to function but you can still use the wheels, So use the weapon wheels by holding tab button.

3. Melee weapons - Lower part below the bag/backpack
(all the melee weapons , including the Jerry can)
4. Pistol weapons - Right side down below the belt
(all the Hand guns/revolvers including Double barrel Shotgun and Compact grenade launcher)
5. Non explosive throwable weapons - Holster right side the belt

well, im getting a directx texture "pickups\fonts\fonts_0.png" creation failed error
I found version 2.2 on the internet ..... but the version is buggy ... because I have to shoot 2 in the head to kill someone ... does anyone know how to fix it?

why there is a delay when opening the weapon wheel?
can you make the rifle visible in front of the player please.
@jayaweera if I make a visible weapon in the front then it will not be PlayerUnknowns Battle Grounds anymore. . . What game are you referring to? As me is to PUBG.

i really do like this mod a lot making an account just to say that.
for those that are wondering if this works with The Contract DLC what you need to do is get the mod "Support for InfamousSabre's Pickups" mod by votrinhan88 and open up the pickups.xml file in OpenIV and copy from "Arena Wars DLC" line down to "Criminal Enterprises DLC" (recent DLC line) and paste it into the pickups.xml of this mod. You may have to change the slot that they are placed in but it should work if you have already installed all versions of this mod (Pickups 2.2/MK2-MKII Weapon Support/Support for InfamousSabre's Pickups) as installing those in order will ensure that the ammo count is changed to match what the mod has changed the name to. (i would be more than happy to see this get updated with the current DLC as this is the only mod variant that has a setting for Female Peds and it fits most of the parachutes/bags except for the melee and explosives but a bit of tweaking should fix that.)
i can go a bit more in-depth with the explanation as i don't really know what the rules are for posting on here in terms of sharing an updated version for those that still want to use this. (i am new to the site but do enjoy a lot of the work and dedication that goes into each and every mod on here.
