I want an new Turbo sound for myself and i want to share it with you!
I know its not perfect, but this is my first mod ever.
[DOESNT WORK ON ANY CAR!]
[HOW TO INSTALL]
- Extract "Other Turbo Sound by Marvel.zip" anywhere you want.
- In OpenIV, go in Edit Mode, and go to your GTA V folder, then go to \x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf (or \mods\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf if you use that).
- Right click on "vehicles.awc" and click on "Export to opnFormat (.oac)" (Extract it wherever you want). It will create a "vehicles.oac" file and a "vehicles" folder.
- Now go in the Other Turbo Sound mod files you extracted, copy the DUMP_VALVE.wav and WASTE_GATE.wav files of the versions you want, as well as all .wav files contained in the "Files to leave empty like that" folder, and put them in the "vehicles" folder that got created when you extracted "vehicles.awc".
- Go on OpenIV, and again, in x64/audio/sfx/RESIDENT.rpf (or mods/x64/audio/sfx/RESIDENT.rpf if you use that).
- In OpenIV, click on "New" (top left) then "Import openFormats".
- Choose the "vehicle.oac" file that got created when you extracted "vehicles.awc", and click Open.
- Click Ok.
- The mod is installed ! You can now close OpenIV and launch your game, and enjoy your new turbo sound !

@Vac Efron i didnt do that a all, u have 2 files when u extract the vehicles.oac file. 1. The Folder "vehicles" and the "vehicles.oac" file. U just have to pick the oac file and not the folder

dude, your video intro is off the chain man. That alone gets 5 stars. I personally would rather hear a supercharger whin. 5 on the turbo though. Does not crackle.

So I am trying to switch the sound files from the new faggio mod (2-Stroke) to the sanchez/2 - stroke dirt bike mod. Exept I ran into a problem where when I try to rename the audio hash for the sanchez in vehicles.meta, It does not find faggio3.
I also found the actual new faggio sound files in the sfx but I do not know to switch them out with the sanchez sound. I also do not know where to find the sanchez sound in sfx. PLS HELP!
@hzap360 I dont think that the sound will work with any bikes. Im sorry. :(
