Is there a skidpad mod or track out there?
Love this mod. Is there a way to pull up list of all best lap times for all cars for the default circuits. Or is there a way to translate the .json file checkpoint data into readable times? Opened with notepad and I see the checkpoints and cars but I am unclear what the time data format is. It doesn’t seem like it is in seconds because the checkpoints don’t seem to add up to the circuit times. Obviously I see the best times for each car upon completing a lap, but I was hoping to compare.
This and your other mods are absolutely crucial for any decent driving experience btw.
Anyone ever figure out a scale for downforce value? Has changed on newer updates. Used to be in the range of like 1-5. Now it is in the hundreds for some vehicles. Anybody have any idea what the actual translation to pounds of downforce at certain speeds for the old value?
Also something I have noticed in the past year. Some cars just seem to have underlying handling attributes unaffected by whatever values you put for weight dist, suspension attributes and roll bias. Some cars are floaty for instance no matter what you use for grip. Some cars have a rear spin tendency no matter your weight dist and grip and susp. Advanced flags being removed don’t seem to matter. Anyone notice stuff like that. Seems like there are hardcoded attributes in each vanilla vehicle.
Addendum, is there any version, 1.0 perhaps that might work with CSH 2.10?

Any of the graphics mod experts here know if there is a setting or file to mod the size of parallax and terrain lod box? I have modded the size of the shadow box, but that apparently does not affect the parallax or terrain detail box which is the most jarring of the detail boxes since you can see an actual shimmering line around 3 meters in front of you when driving offroad in 3rd person and watch as the terrain along that straight line visibly morph from non-parallax and lower res to parallax and higher res. I have read parallaxing is part of the shader setting. Truly once you see it you can’t unsee it. I am assuming it’s hard coded unlike the other LODs for cars, peds, shadows, lights, etc.? Also the vegetation lod appears to be tied to the same box. Plants grown more detailed and sprout into larger entities as soon as they hit that shimmering detailed lod box line. This is essentially the same as the shadow cascading effect, but for the actual terrain, parallax, and vegetation detail.
Is there a way to disable controller mapping of airbrake. I deleted both buttons from the ini and left blank but now it is mapped to select view on the controller even though ithas no button associated with it in the ini?
