Alternative solution that may or may not work for some: Add a new jet to the list every time you launch the game. Use a trainer to spawn them. That way you only clean the .xml once in a while or replace it using a backup one with the rest of the jets deleted from the list so you can add them again.
To anyone having the issue where they need to reinstall the mod (basically remove the jets from the .xml) then add them via the key combination in-game in order to make this work, here's a crappy solution that I use myself (I'm facing the same issue):
1. Remove the saved jets from the .xml (including the pre-existing 3, unless you're using a custom jet - then remove that one).
2. Set the .xml to read-only, that way the game write anything to the file so it won't save any jets and every time you press the key combination it'll activate in-game (you still need to reach whatever speed activates it though).
However, that way you cannot get any custom stats for saved jets. It'll use whatever the automatic/default values are I'm guessing. (Including the laggy sound barrier-breaking smoke effect and the ear-bleeding "sonic boom", unless you manually delete the sound files like I did.)
I'll give it a 50% rating till it's fixed.
Why'd ya cancel the widebody version? It's all I wanted. :/
Oversized wheels on this one btw and weird-looking headlights/seats/etc.
Ofc it's Beta so eh... gl.
Came here for the comments, but have a 5/5 rating because fuck people ripping models off other games and selling them as their own work just cause they converted them. At least you made this one.
I think you're literally telling me to make textures without UV maps and move them around blindly till I get them on the spot I want, or you're assuming the parts I want to paint have an existing texture embedded to them for me to extract and use as UV map.
@IGnoTon I don't think you understand what I mean... I'm talking about embedded textures to a locked model. Forget it.
@IGnoTon What GreenAid said. You'd need to make separate tuning parts and such. I'm talking about liveries applying to also tuning parts and such. Bit complicated. It just won't work with locked models unless you rip them against the modder's will, which I won't do.
Quite decent if you exclude the fact that half the items in the "grille" list are invisible to me, as well as 1-2 hoods, a spoiler and a bunch of other stuff. I also wish we could recolor the springs on the back separately from the wheels (e.g. secondary color) and make the windshield black. Most of this, LODs included, will be fixed in the future, so I can't complain, but there's one, just ONE thing I hate about your mods, as much as Iove them, and that is how we can't make liveries for them because the liveries are tuning parts rather than paint-on ones and your models are always locked on zmodeler so I can't do a thing.
Loving this car @BB20 <3 tysm for working on it. Amazing job. Can't wait for the fixes! (Don't rush tho, we're patient when it's worth it! :DD)
@GTAWiseGuy pretty please? </3 If you can't do it, I can and I won't share, personal use only. Can even lock it afterwards so I can't use it myself.
