The Car mod didn't include a template, so I imported it to 3ds max and rendered one, to allow for more accurate and detailed texture mapping. Thought it might be useful to others.
This UV applies to this model - https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/bmw-m3-gtr-e46-most-wanted
Original car mod is by - HaCKer_UTD
4096x4096 resolution.
Works great for me ingame with textures at this resolution, crisp and clear.
No need to resize or change shape of texture, even though original car had 2:1 shape texture.

@wasted_bandwidth Awesome job dude! love this car, and now I can make it even better. do you think you could make a template for AlperB's Honda S2000? I would really appreciate it.
@knifestrife I looked at it and unfortunately, it is not laid out properly, so the mapping overlaps itself. If you placed a logo in the middle for instance, it would be distored and show on several areas of the car, as they all use the same mapping space. http://i.imgur.com/RcXfh5X.jpg

@wasted_bandwidth Hey dude, I've run into some issues when attempting to get the skin to actually show on the car in the game. It's there, but only under the paint. Any thoughts?
@knifestrife Hmm I have similar issues on my McLaren skin, I don't know how to make it be only the painted skin, and not all colors, etc. Something with the Livery settings maybe? Idk.
