Basically cops remember you and your cars when recognized during chases
How does it work
To make cops remember your face or car they have to see you for couple of secs (depends on distance, your wanted, weather, and many things), and then report it, you can kill them so you dont get warrant ofc. Each cop has own recognition meter for car/face.
Each protagonist can have their own warrant and recognised clothes. There is infinite number of cars that can be wanted.
If your character is wanted there is Mafia 2 like poster displayed near minimap with your character's photo.
If your car is wanted then license plate with your numbers are shown.
"Wanted" above your warrant poster/as your license plate number means your not in police chase right now, or you werent recognised during ongoing chase
To prevent cops from recognizing your face you can wear mask. However, wearing mask in the middle of city isn't really nice for other people and can make you get arrested.
When cops see you walking on the street or driving your car when there is arrest warrant on you they might approach and start to ask some questions which will result in a police chase.
To loose arrest warrant from Mikey/Frank/Trev you have to change your clothes or bribe them using phone booths (dying also makes you loose arrest warrant).
Loosing arrest warrant for you cars requires you to change its paint in LCS... Or you can just buy fake license plates and change them anywhere.
IVChases is GTA IV like way to loose cops - if you leave blinking circle and wait couple of secs, you will loose wanted level
Wanted cars and player clothes are saved to file each time game autosaves or player saves the game.

-WantedRandomVehs when true might give warrant to player car, working on it
Played a lot with this mod and I didn't encounter anything serious, in case of crash type Reload() in console.
Installation
Unzip WarrantsV.zip and then just put WarrantV.net.dll into your GTA V scripts folder.
After first launch Okoniewitz/WarrantsV folder will appear in your scripts folder. Config file should be there.

I usually lurk but I wanted to register an account just to say this mod is amazing. In between this one and the lockpicking one your one of my favorite modders on this site.
This is just like the Arrest Warrant mod for GTA IV - I've been waiting for a GTA V version since the day it came out for PC!!! Great job!
love the mod! but could you switch the controller button to access phones like the left/right directional or even Y?. LB is for the weapon wheel and it wont let me phones because of it, these other buttons wont interfere with other functions.
I think the best is create a combination of:
+ WarrantV
+ Stolen
+ Better Chases+
but I dont know how :-\
If you use this with Better Chases+ then you really should disable arrest warants in its options.
hey how do u move the wanted picture and licence plate cause i have a wide screen and it is over the top of the mini map

Ok so i downloaded it but it cant work because there's no .PBD file how do you expect use to use it now idk how any of you guys did it because its impossible with the main file which it has but its just missing the .PBD file

You must have downloaded version 1.0 instead of 1.1.
Version 1.0 contains only WarrentV.net
Version 1.1 has 2 files including the PBD

AMAZING MOD!! been trying for hours to turn off cop blips but cannot figure it out, might be a skill issue lol If anyone knows how to do it please let me know 👍

This mod is superb, but I noticed the cops dispatched by Realism Dispatch Enhanced (RDE) don't have blips on them on the map, and don't recognise you if you have a warrant. Would be awesome if you could make it compatible with that. Thanks!
Also - would be great to have an option to completely disable all blips, and another one for disabling all HUD too... I tried setting everything blip related to false to no avail. The blips break immersion, especially when cops despawn quickly. Thanks
Best used with the "Cops on Patrol.oiv" which puts cops back around the map (both on foot and in vehicles) - works on latest game versions, doesnt affect performance. Otherwise this mod is kinda useless. You can find the oiv here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/pull-me-over-daimian
Another suggestion - cops should radio in warrants when they see you, instead of pulling out their mobile phones...
