It's a great mod, very good work, too bad it's not compatible with Immersive Effects.
@zsqz Thanks! 😄 I appreciate the support. I’ll try to make the mod compatible with the Immersive Effects mod in a future update or the next update
controller support?
@TruckerKingDee I initially did not plan to add controller support due to the complexity involved. However, many requests have been for controller support, so I will try to add it in a future update. I’m glad to hear that you liked the mod, and thank you for the support 😄
Hi again, first of all wanna thank you for giving us such a great mod, I enjoy it a lot, and so wannna give you some suggestions to improve it even more. My suggestions are first making it possible to get off the duffelbag or back pack, and once we get it off we got to pick it up to recover the things they stored, it would be cool to be able to get it off on the car and then we have to go to that car to recover it. Also would be cool to be able to get it off outside any car and it stays there as a prop we got to pick up if we wanna recover the things it got. Other suggestions I'd say would be making a working yellow jacket, being able to store food on the safe house fridge, having the options to buy ecola/sprunk on the store aswell and maybe being able to buy hamburgers either from street vendors or the drive-through up an-attom service which would be cool if it had like the option of buying fries or other staff. These are just my suggestions, thanks for reading them.
@EzX_GTA Hi! Your mod is awesome! There are things you could add like being able to eat at home for example, sleep in hotels/motels or even be able to go to restaurants and cafes! Controller compatibility would be great too. In any case, it remains one of the best of its kind in my opinion
i like this Script a lot the only thing that's driving me is its kind of complicated, there should be more key binds in the ini because most of them are conflicting with other menus. there also should be an option to enable/disable the basket in a convenience store considering that i'm only limited to 3 items. i died in game when i used the script for the first time because for some reason i couldn't get a drink and a doughnut and i couldn't purchase items quick enough. Its Still a great script i just wish it was more simple or at least more options in the ini to diable certain things
@Sanmorix Hi again, thank you for the kind words and for taking the time to share such detailed suggestions. I’m really glad you’re enjoying the mod.
Being able to remove the bag without needing to visit the bag store is already on my bucket list, and yes, you’ll be able to recover the removed bag along with its inventory. As for doing this inside a vehicle, that’s not really possible, and even if I were to find a workaround, it would lean too far into realism. I’m trying to strike a balance between lore and realism for the mod.
I’ll also try to add support for the Yellow Jack Inn, and storing food and drinks at a safehouse is something I already have planned. I removed Ecola and Sprunk purchases from stores since soda vending machine support is now available, making store purchases redundant.
I’ve also given some thought to buying burgers from the Beefy Bill’s burger stand, and drive-through support is currently in progress. This feature will be added in a future update
I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and feedback. Thanks again for the support 😊
@ImNeoFresh Hello there,
Working motels and restaurants are in progress, and I’m also working on controller support. These features will be included in a future update.
Glad you liked the mod, and thanks for the support 😊
@Jrsensei29 Hello there,
Could you let me know if there are any additional key bindings you would like to see added? Currently, you can customize the Main Menu and Inventory Menu key bindings. Basket Menu key bindings have already been added and will be available in an upcoming update. If you have any other key binding suggestions, feel free to share them here.
As for toggling the basket, that isn’t something I can support. However, you can visit Rob’s Liquor or Scoops Liquor Barn for direct purchases, or use vending machines for fast purchasing. When any stat reaches zero, health is reduced by 10 every 10 seconds, though Rockstar’s default health regeneration will periodically restore health up to 50 HP.
I’ll continue working on simplifying the mod where possible. If you’d like more information, you can check the feature list in the Doc folder or watch the showcase video on YouTube
Glad you liked the mod, and thank you for the support 😊
@EzX_GTA Not gonna lie, this seems awesome, I might start using it, but I am wondering, can I disable any of the stats? I haven't downloaded it, but I'd like to disable sleep
@EzX_GTA Also, one small suggestion that would really elevate the usage of hud in this mod
You could tie it to the radar setting (on off) with this native: IS_MINIMAP_RENDERING
I personally like to keep my game no hud, no radar but I use a mod that allows me to look at any hud and radar information when pulling up the phone which is pretty convenient, it's this:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/cge-s-dynamic-radar-and-hud-asi
In any case, would be a good addition
@thalilmythos Hello there,
I’m sorry, but it is not currently possible to disable individual stats. That said, the stat decrease logic will be improved in a future update. Regarding the HUD hiding when the minimap is disabled, this has already been Included and will be available in the upcoming update. As a matter of fact, I am also using the same function (IS_MINIMAP_RENDERING) for one of the upcoming feature
Thank you for sharing the code reference, really appreciate it. I hope you liked the mod 😊
whys the hud flickering when the phones up
@EzX_GTA If I like the mod I’d like to make it compatible with my restauranta & hotels mod, are you okay with that?
This mod is fantastic! I hope the new version will include the option to customize the price multiplier.
Is this compatible with Enhanced?
What will next update focuse on?
instalei tuddo certo, não funciona
Really impressed by the mod's quality. The script in itself works like a charm, everything is well performed, the consumption rate, the HUD, the menus for customizations, the props, sounds, textures, etc. The mechanics like grabbing a basket in the store and having to walk around to choose stuff and then going to checkout, it's these kind of stuff that really brings in the immersion that misses in other mods, we need the character interacting with the world, not just us pressing buttons and everything changing within menus and HUDs, this is what makes this mod really enjoyable.
As for feedback, I have a few technical comments that could be improved upon and maybe some ideas that I don't know if other people already suggested (there's a lot of comments to read XD), so here we go:
1. When you're in a store buying stuff, the mod limits us as to how many things we can buy in a certain group, like, only 1 drink, 1 chip, etc, but somehow I managed to put a lot of stuff in the basket and when doing the checkout, the mod blocked me from paying stating that there was too many stuff, making me discard my current basket to pickup another one and picking up less items. So there needs to be more clarity on this mechanic, as to how many items or item types you can put in the basket and how many you can actually buy. And also, what could be cool is if we could delete specific items from the basket instead of having to discard the whole thing and have to restart with a new basket. I tried hitting delete, backspace, etc, but couldn't delete a single item from the checkout list, so I don't know if it's already possible.
2. Following that line, I found the store/items list HUD a bit confusing on 2 aspects. First, when going through the list, each item depicts which bars they fill (hunger, thirst, energy) but they also show a green bar... I don't know what that is. And also, sometimes a few items in the list become greyed out, like it would mean they are unable to be bought, but I can still put them in the basket... so yeah, don't know why, I think it needs a bit more clarification on those.
3. Still on the store HUD, but this one is a nitpick, definitely ignorable. I found SUPER cool the discount mechanics, makes it feel more alive and grounded to reality, but the behaviour itself could improve... Like, whenever I grab a basket, check the items list and there's like, only 1 item in discount... then go to discard the basket and pickup another one and check the same items list, it changes which and the amount of items with discount. I know it must be working like it loads a random ssed of discounts each time you initiate a shopping, but could you make it "fixed" for a certain amount of time, like a full day or a week, and only refresh it after that period of time has passed? Again, this one is a nitpick and you can completely dismiss this.
4. This one I DID see other people commenting about and have also seen you replying stating that it's on the horizon, but just to make it more pronounced as a highly wished feature, yeah it would be awesome to implement motels/hotels and MAYBE even make it work alongside other mods such as Safehouse Reloaded (or any other alike), which comes with interiors and beds to sleep. This would 100% improve on the roleplay mechanic of having a unique character apart from Franklin, Michael and Trevor and have that new character have his own home with interactable stuff that do actually work with the character's needs
