Traffic Laws - 1.1
This is a simple script for role-players or for LSPD:FR Fans or for LSPD:FR Haters :). It adds a bit more Traffic Laws to the game.
Usage
Keys
F12 - to toggle mod on or off(can be edited through ini file)
ini file
KEY - The key used to toggle the mod on or off(default is F12)
AMOUNT OF STARS ADDED - The amount of stars added when breaking Traffic Laws(default is 1)
SPEED - The speed you need to exceed to get a wanted level in the presence of cops(default is 60).
DISTANCE - The Cop Sight(default is 75)
Current Features:
-If you drive against the roadside while cops are around, you will get a wanted level.(added in initial release)
-Toggle Feature(added in 1.1 update)
-If you drive on pavements while cops are around, you will get a wanted level(added in 1.1 update)
-If you hit a ped while driving while cops are around, you will get an instant wanted level(added in 1.1 update)
-If you hit a vehicle while driving while cops are around, you will get an instant wanted level(added in 1.1 update)
-If you exceed speed limit while cops are around, you will get an instant wanted level(added in 1.1 update)
-Added ini file(added in 1.1 update)

is something meant to happen when i hit F12? other than a screenshot? i cant tell any difference with script in folder. im pretty sure it didnt work
Would it be possible for you to make an option so that the player gets fined if a police sees you breaking a certain applicable law, as opposed to getting shot at? Nice mod! :)
@Mora Hannover What would be nice to get a fine if you pass the red traffic lights.
@Mora Hannover will this work properly with the better police mod by @Eddlm & The Realism Team. This would be amazing, as their mod offers a great warrent system and police chases than the vanilla game. Whereas your mod, included the improved traffic laws which they do not offer. Maybe you guys should create one together, or take out the cop sight & amount of star edits, so that people installing for realism can use both together. I will try both together and post what happens in its current state.
@bh02930 Probably, just try it and see.
About the script, its a good idea, but I think it should be approached in a different way. For all those incidents, the police should force you to stop and issue you a citation, with the fine depending on what you did. Yeah, i'm aware that it would be a complex thing to do code.
Still, a great idea. Players will definitely need to be more careful when they drive around now.
How to install?
One issue I've had is that San Andreas Highway Patrol officers don't care if you're violating traffic laws. That very well could be a conflict with Realism Dispatch Enhanced. Other than that, great mod. I always hated driving like an absolute maniac through a city and not garnering any attention when in real life I get pulled over for a busted headlight. I wish the cops could just cite you at 1 star rather than attempting to arrest you, but eh, only so much you can do with it, I suppose.
Sadly this doesn't work for me at all :( It might be clashing with 'GTA Realism' mod as that includes police modifications.

Only issue I ran into is leaving Franklin driveway, With world of variety I have cops patrolling so I usally get a star for going on the pavement to get out.
Can you make traffic laws for traffic. So they could follow laws and not hit you. etc.

can I make the mod turn on automatically?
As I understand "role-players" are men without rights, because all shit doesn't work on peds but player. It completely unrealistic that you have rules differ from the world.

@Mora Hannover While the mod has good ideas, it ruins the game because when the retarded AI crashes into you, the cops will go after you and it happens all the time. Good ideas, but makes role playing impossible. Maybe it would be fine if only this feature was disabled.
