@420x420 CHARGING people? Hillarious. I think you meant to say "donations for models". I can see why you're upset, but remember Valve is a big company. What are the odds of Valve coming around and saying "Hey, this is OUR content!", when people make animations in GMOD or SFM with Valve content and make money off it. Does Valve give a shit? No. Not if they made a poster of a TF2 SFM called "Turbulence" by MechaFourth. Who knows how much the guy made off it, who knows if he even is making money. Even PewDiePie is guilty of the same thing.

@jr59 @Quechus13 @krashadam Donating is still paying money SO he is charging money for the people to use the models and the models should be free in the first place he only converted it and rigged it and you dont see any other mod makers charging money or "donations" to use these types of mods? and yes im not stupid i know you have to pay for the licenses of zmod and what not but its your choice to be doing this type of stuff and you shouldn't expect people to donate to you just to use the mods you make. These are character models from a well known game not a huge modification that changes a lot of stuff. I'd understand if he just had it for his patreon users only for like a month or two and then released it for the public but no its only for people giving him money. weather or not hes spending it on the licenses or on other stuff its just stupid.

@420x420 Uh, EVERY fucking user on every fucking community does this. (For example, GTA5Korn, the best mod maker here. Here's one of his many mods: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/volkswagen-golf-mk2 Why? Because it takes longer than one like you would think to create a mod like this. Finding the model, porting the model to a format Zmodeler can handle, coding the model, rigging the model, all that other shit. If anything, these people work hard at making their mods. Every modder has to eat and have a roof over their head. Now if Valve had a problem with @jr59 making money off of L4D models, why aren't they coming and saying "This is OUR content, stop making money off it."? They didn't do this with big time SFM animators like MechaFourth. You're the only one who's actually caring about this whole thing, and there's no point to it. If someone or a company doesn't care if someone else makes money off of their content, then neither should you.
