This mod will add in the next-gen LED lights on the Police Vapid Stanier cars.
The picture shows the differents between the lights. The Sheriff car have the old LED's as the LSPD one have the next-gen lights.
Install:
For the LSPD vapid replace ''Police.ytd'' in:
\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
For the Sheriff Vapid replace ''sheriff+hi.ytd'' in:
\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
As always do make a backup of the files before modding them.

Looks like the Sheriff in the screenshot is using the vanilla taxi light texture as it doesn't have red, but more yellow. The modded lights look just like these here https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/police-leds-hqr Nice job, man!

This is really great. The deeper color tones make these lightbars look much nicer and more authentic. I remember when we got a few of the first-generation Whelen strobe lightbars on our fire vehicles around 1981 and they looked fantastic when they were brand new but after about a year the red lenses had faded so badly they literally looked PINK. When we rolled up on scene it looked like the Powder-Puff brigade had arrived. The sheriff's office used the exact same Whelen bars, only theirs were BLUE, and their lenses turned light GREEN after a short time. Whelen ended up having to recall EVERY lense in the county's inventory and replace them all with lenses that wouldn't fade so quickly. We dumped those lightbars after the second year for the lightbars the county should've bought to begin with, Federal Signal AeroDynic.
@Netman can you PLEASE make the sheriff_lights texture with amber marker lights... It looks great on all the other police vehicles but I really dont want to loose my amber lights on the others when I install this.

I noticed the gta online vapid now has the updated lights, so this might be obsolete.
