@kick12134 Do you use the QuantV trainer? If yes, then that's what causes it
For some reason it removes the DoF from the radio, weapon and character wheels
@Alex106 No I dont really use the QuantV trainer, the only other mod I can think of is the previous gen hud, however that doesnt modify the timecyclemodifiers_4 file and it shoudnt remove the blur from the hud at all according to the preview screenshots
The real answer here is, do this mod increase fps?
@kick12134 I don't have any idea then, sorry
@Shiroufembussy For some people it did, yes
@Alex106 Hello there, first of all, thanks for the files, the turismo now is stable and fixed. I want to ask you is this mod update is still compatible with older version
@Imad Miganeh Yes, it is
@Alex106 which file controls the fog volumes?
Also in graphics.ytd the flare_artefactx2 and flare_artefact look really odd compared to og files. They look good, but 1) why they look so different 2) where can these effects be noticed the most during gameplay
@Alex106 UPDATE which file controls the fog volumes. Firstly sorry for the message bombardment but I've found what I was looking for. Anyway, I have visualvanilla 1.5 (not the final version installed because that one has some weird bugs related to timecycle files). Version 1.5 is amazing, brings the game much needed detail without going over the edge and it still maintains the original vibe that the game has. However, one thing that was super obvious was that visualvanilla 1.5 fog volumes were turned down way to much... I personally dislike this. Best example is during night time and LS skyline lacks those fog volumes/light volumes around the skyscrapers. Something you bring introduce so nicely in this: visual paradise mod. Whereas in visualvanilla 1.5 It's like it's almost none existent.
So I did something - I've copied and pasted <fogvolume_density_scalar>, <fogvolume_density_scalar_interior> and <fogvolume_fog_scaler> values from the og files of every single timecycle file eg: "w_clear" into the mods folder and where timecycle files are for visualvanilla 1.5.
So, after doing this I've noticed that the game now looks in my opinion better.
Also that graphics.ytd question is still a go :D
Sorry again for such a long and confusing message....
Love your work that you bring to this game man!!!
I have some problem with the mod, the dust/fog in sandy shores sometimes has flickering in it...why? how to fix
@Adas8812 By og you mean the original pc textures?
1) They're different because those are the textures from the 7th gen version of the game
2) Anytime you look at the sun, as they're used by the lens flare
@MadHunter That's an issue with the game itself, not the mod
@Alex106 thanks for the response. Yes "og" -original files.
Also there's this odd bug, non bug can't really explain without ingame screenshots. Anyway, during night time some streetlights change their glare/shine/corona size really fast when you get
closer to them. That change is very abrupt, not natural. A Good example are those lights in sandy shores. This effect happens I'm guessing because I'm using visual vanilla 1.5. Maybe there's some setting, value in timecycle or visualsettings files where these things (glare and such) could be changed?
@Adas8812 It's not caused by VisualVanilla (or Visual Paradise or any graphic mod) but rather by the LOD lights I think
Its a graphic enhancer , the textures look more sharper like MSAA (4X) , also its a fps booster i gain over a 8 frames especially at nights , but the colors in sunny daylight weather is oversaturated and washed with a lot fog in horizon.
I suggest to download this file https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/r-hancer-graphics-mod and you replace only two files in time cycle folder w_clear & w_clearing .Try this https://www.file.io/mGdO/download/D8FBGY71Xg3i
Is it possible to add a workaround for the ugly shadow cascades from vanilla game?
@spiderGrear2 yes, use soft shadows and set cascade in timecycles to 5.5000 to all
@MadHunter what is cascade bra and what is the path and wher i can set it
@Alex106 hello, is there a chance you can return ps3/xbox360 trees and vegetations? Restored Old Gen Assets has some but not many.
@wand031oe It's not worth porting those because they're too low poly
@Alex106 sorry to hear that bc I think original trees and vegetations was the best. Mod from Andrey_gta5 make some of them blocky unfortunately. But thanks for reply!
