German Textures V is a mod that comes with translated textures.
We opened all textures, removed the English Text (or most of it) and translated it to German using layers in Adobe Photoshop.
It contains all edit DDS files (high and low), all ymt files and all the PSD files we created (to make the mod translatable in other languages than German).
We're currently looking for some Photoshoppers who would like to spent their time in editing GTA V textures! If you're interested -> PM me!
To install and use the mod you need OpenIV 2.6 or later.
The mod does not contain any installation instructions, carefully read the description, please:
- Install OpenIV 2.6 or later
- Backup your original game files
- Extract all files from the archive
- OpenIV: Turn EditMode on
- Drag the files into the right folder (folder names)

This site is already flooded with shitty mods that replaces all kind of textures with ones that are based on real adverts and destroys the lore of the game. THAT is a point I would be concerned about.

Mir würden deutsche Texturen im Spiel nicht so recht gefallen, spielt ja schließlich alles in den USA. Aber mach dein Ding, die Qualität der Texturen ist gut.
@Random User Ich werde den Mod noch weiter machen, aber wohl erst in ein par Monaten. OpenIV ist noch nicht ausgereift genug. Es gibt viele Dateien, die sich nicht öffnen lassen (die 16mb Dinger) und dann noch die eingebetteten Texturen. Aber sei dir sicher, dass hier bald noch mehr kommt :)

Dieser Mod ist eig. nur Sinnvoll wenn man kein Englisch kann oder nur schlecht...
Da frage ich mich aber, warum zum Fick ist dann die Beschreibung auf Englisch?
Die Leute die sich diesen Mod Downloaden wollen können die Beschreibung nicht lesen...
@MineDoodler Ich kann sehr gut Englisch lesen und sprechen, trotzdem mag ich es wenn alles auf Deutsch ist :)
Ich find die Idee super! Ich kann gut englisch aber fürs Ambiente ists doch ne geile Sache :) Weiter so!
